Ever since I was a little girl I've always wanted one of my own.................
I learnt to cook on a Rayburn and an Aga, so you can imagine I'm in heaven right now. Gregg is rather enjoying it too, it's woodburning, heats the house and the hot water, so it's butch enough for him to play with too......!!
Christenings and finishing off with the trademen has been keeping us busy, but I'll be back again soon. Life is a little more calm again, which is good. :)

Hello! Looks fab Lisa - looking forward to a big fat slice of cake baked in there. Next week might be good?

Wow, that's gorgeous! Lucky you. Our new Kitchen Aid would look very nice next to that.
Hope you and the family are well.
Evening Ladies!
Katie, next week would be good, lets try and go for a walk up round the estate, see if the kids can spot the wild boar! See you on Friday at Gillians?
Katherine, the red Kitchen Aid is on my wish list (lucky you!), I just got a Magimix for my Birthday so I'll be wating a while!
The ESSE is fab (although I wouldn't advise running out of properly seasoned wood a month in!!!) so far carrot cake and choc cake have been the best.......mmmmmmm

I am loving the stove!
I have never seen a red one before
Love your photo at the top of your blog! It's so fun. I didn't catch where your store is but I'm sure it's very attractive. Good luck. Please come visit me at laughinghorseart.blogspot.com
Gorgeous new toy!! Enjoy cooking lots of yummy meals in it!I too learnt to cook in an aga, and have never quite got used to our electric oven!x
Ooh, congratulations - it'll be your new best friend in no time, if it isn't already!
Hope you are all doing well.
Thanks for your comment on Perthshire Open Studios. Hopefully 2 venues in Alyth will bring even more visitors this year. Very encouraging numbers from last year so I'd better get organised.
Hope you are all well up there.

I have the French equivalent (deVille) but without the hot water. You may find temperature control a bit dodgy for cakes etc, but wonderful for slow cooked winter stews, and roasts.
Good luck. Greetings from France, Cro.
Wow I love your stove.. its just beautiful!
O I love your blog!! it reminds me of The red Cranberry cottage blog. Full of house renos. Beautiful stove!! I want one!
That's wonderful! It's only in the movies that I see such an oven.
I like that it comes in such a deep red color as well. It looks so classic. :)
