The red door

What do you think? When we were up North I was inspired by a little white cottage with red woodwork and doors, I fell in love with it! So we now have a lovely red reclaimed door and the windows are going to match. Only 3 weeks to go until the grand opening so we're on the big count down, fingers crossed it all comes together!

Hi Lisa,
it's looking fab - even though I have a studio, I am feeling green with envy!

Wow it looks great!

My studio is getting rendered next week, so I will then be able to start inside. I say me I don't know how to do electrics or heating or plastering! Luckily I married the right man for the job!

Only 3 weeks to go Wow!

I am soooooo looking forward to getting out there, having that division between home and work will be amazing, at the moment it is just one big blur! The house is curently taken over by the business, 4 rooms are taken up with all my junk! A mass clear out will be required, but getting the house back will be great, we'll be able to have friends come and stay now!!!

Ziakoko - I originally wanted to paint the outside white, but Gregg was against it, he thinks we should see how it ages. As he has put blood, sweat and tears into it, I think I should leave the white paint for just now.......

It is just absolute mayhem at the minute, the "to do" list is constantly growing instead of getting shorter! But I'm enjoying every minute of it. It's a different madness to Christmas though, as I know I'm getting something wonderful at the end of it all! I've waited 5 years for this.......

Fantastic red door, I really do love the post box red colour. Very welcoming!
The blog idea would be great, if only I felt more confident on the computer. I do love to write in my journals though, which I have done for years. They are great to look back through. I also enjoy making photo albums. I think we may have a few of each for this trip!

Good luck with the grand opening!
