Back into things.

We are back home and trying to get back to normal, back into the routine of things. Friday was a really hard day, my first on my own with no one to look after, just me, myself and I. And a very messy studio with a huge backlog of orders to be made, put together, and posted out. I'm getting there, slowly. The shop is also back open now and is dressed for Christmas with twinkly lights and lots of festive loveliness.
Thank you to everyone for their thoughful comments, cards and phone calls, it's at times like this that you realise just how important good friends are.
Taking things slowly this week, but missing the buzz of the Country Living Fair, never mind there's always next year. I'm sharing a stall with Katie this weekend at a local Winter Festival so that shall keep me busy.

Going back to everyday duties and works is a good remedy. You will feel better with time.

Hi Lisa,
This comment i wrote to you just on the day that you told us that you had to go to stay with your family because of your father. I thought i'd copy it and sent it again, it just might cheer you up a tiny little bit:

Finally, finally i will leave a comment for you...i've been following your blog for more than 1year and just wanted to let you know that you've been such an inspiration for me to do/make/organise things.(next to being a stay-at-home-mum )!! I am making home decorations from fabrics, wood etc.
And last april i turned my house into a shop for 1 day and i organised a sale :)(pictures on my blog: april 2008) Wow, so exciting!! But it went very well.
At the moment i am busy for the 15th of november for a "winter-evening-sale" with nice decorations, also for Christmas. When i was thinking about this all today i thought it was all because of you, haha. So thank you very much :)
By the way 2 weeks ago we were in Edinburg as well and it crossed my mind to go and visit you, but after looking at the map it turned out a bit difficult without the car. But who knows, maybye one day !! Have a nice week ....
Greetings from the Netherlands,
Janneke.

PS hoe you don't mind me sending it again.

Such sad news, Go gently and quietly for a wee while.
Will miss seeing you at the CLFair was going to come and say hello but you have done the right thing. Too much too soon isn't a good idea at this time. Remember the happy times not just the sad and allow yourself to laugh.
