A year of blogging........

I knew it was coming up but didn't realise it was today....................a year of blogging, where has that time gone? I've had great fun telling you all about our adventures over the last year, doing up the shack, tales of the animals and running a rural business from home. I've also made loads of superb friends over the last year, a couple of which I've even managed to meet up with.
I do find this whole blogging thing a bit crazy, I can't do it every day, I just don't have the time. I know I've been lacking in posts and commenting on others lately but life is just a bit hectic at the moment, I promise I'll get back into the swing of things and catch up with you all again very soon. I think the longer you leave it the harder it is to come back.......?
Anyway, this week is a bit mad, getting ready for the family invasion on Sunday, I think we've got a head count of around 36 people coming and a couple of babies at the moment...........where are we going to put them all?????? And trying to tame the garden is proving to be a case of dodging the torrential down pours, we may all be wearing swimming costumes on Sunday.........!
I promise I'll be back next week with lots of photos and more tales to tell.
Thanks all for letting me share our adventures with you. Sending you all love and hugs.xxx

Happy blogging anniversary! I know what you mean about not having time to blog so often, in summer there is so much coming and going and things going on - I'm doing a quick catch up in between being away last week and going again on Thursday. Decided to do comments first then if I have time a quick post on my own blog. Hope your family weekend goes well, I'm sure it will, these things are always fun and everyone will pitch in and help. Have fun!

Happy anniversary, I've just gone back to check and it's my 1 year anniversary this month too! It's been fab to share all the things we've all been up to with other bloggers who often appreciate things far more than people like my hubby!

Well many congratulations on achieving a year of blogging, I know just what you mean about finding the time. Since Stu broke his leg I have struggled to post and sometimes I find myself spending far too long looking at friends blogs - oh well.....
Happy Blogiversary to you and here's to the next year.

Happy Anniversary Lisa! I've yet again fallen behind with my blogging. In an ideal world i think we'd all like to be able to blog every other day but the truth is we have real lives to live and jobs to do and cleaning, and cooking and gardening AND LOOKING OTHER THE OTHER HALF NONE THE LESS! Blogging has to be done in moderation with other tasks in our busy lives. I've just sat down from a days worth of cleaning. My reward to myself ~ to sit in peace and read some blogs. And thats all for tonight. I'm too tires to even think about posting. And before you know it a couple of days has gone by...... then weeks.
Hope the family gathering goes well. Just has one ourselves.
Take care,
Charlotte xx

Thank you all for the kind wishes! Tomorrow is "blitz the house" day and then a bit of baking. Fighting a losing battle trying to get out into the garden, it just never stops raining!

Hoping to go berry picking on Saturday for fresh strawbs and rasps for the pudding on the Sunday, going to make a couple of big pavlovas - so I need to remember to keep plenty of eggs for myself this weekend and not sell them all!

Speak to you all next week, have a good weekend.

Congrats on one year! Hope there'll be many more. It's not the quantity of posts I find, but the quality! My own one year is coming up, so I know how you feel! Have a great party! :o)

Happy Blogoversary! That's the first milestone achieved - much easier from here on in :) I find during the day I think of what I'll blog about and put it together in dripbs and drabs. I haven't been posting very regularly, I think it's the rain and the drearyness, and poor Indy - but I'm getting on top of that.

Have a beautiful weekend, good luck with all 36 (does this mean small families are blessings?!) - that is going to be one knees-up!

Happy blog birthday!
Looks like you have been celebrating in style.
Must try that chocolate slab cake, I wasn't sure but now you've tested it, I will for sure!
Although my cakes can be very hit or miss!
