The Door Stop Lady
Well, I discovered today that in Bridge of Allan I am known as "The Door Stop Lady"! It could be a hell of a lot worse, and I am actually quite flattered - so thank you all! My feet have never hit the ground since 6am but it has been a wonderful day, so thank you to all who came along to the fair and thank you to Gill for hosting it, I think it was a real success and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I eventually remembered to take some photos halfway through the day so a lot of the handmade goodies had gone by then, never mind, I've got another fair on Monday so I'll hopefully have more made by then! I'm now off to bed with a hot ribena and this months Country Living!

I LOVE hot Ribena. So glad somebody else does too! The fair you did looked so warm and cosy. I hope you had a lot of fun.
Hot Ribena is the best, my nana used to give it to me as a child all the time in the winter, it's a great warm up when you come in from the cold! Yesterdays fair was lovely, the room was lovely and warm with the sun coming in all day, absolute bliss compared to some of the fairs I've done when you're just chilled to the bone. I have a feeling I'll have done a few of those by the time christmas is here!
Hot ribena - the best cold cure apart from whisky - do you think that this is one of those 1970/80s childhood things?
Duntreath was cold and horrible and I want to join your fair next year.
Could well be a 70/80's thing - I just love it! Whisky is good too though, although I found myself drinking brandy the other night? not really sure why! I'm sure you would be more than welcome to come along to the fair next year, everyone would love your goodies!
Lisa -I am now into Santa shopping mode - what are in the red heart shaped tins on your stall?
Jx
Hi Jane,
The red heart tins have 5 heart cookie cutters in them and they have "amour" on the lid - very cute! The cream tins in front of the door stops are square with 5 star shaped cookie cutters in them. They are both priced at £10 each and should hopefully be on the web site soon! Let me know if you want me to put any aside for you.

Another hot ribena lover! Haven't had any for ages. Need to go out and buy a bottle later. Your tables at the fair look really lovely. As do all the things on the tables!
